Bathroom
Clontarf, Dublin 3.
A matte white tile complimented with a white slate tray, two fixed screens and a pivot screen for ease of access. The walls are panelled in moisture resistant MDF and finished in Farrow & Ball paint. A generous floor mounted vanity sink, fully shroud toilet, chrome dual shower with a concealed mixer.

This ensuite we created as part of an attic conversion. The angled ceiling created a challenge, but we managed to fit everything in that the client desired. Consisting of a wet room shower, custom his and hers vanity sinks with quartz countertop, free standing bath and many other unique features.
Bathroom
Ashrown, Dublin 15.
Here, a bathtub was removed and replaced with a walk-in shower. Neutral tile and a French navy wall hung vanity complimented by a sleek touch screen LED mirror. The client wanted a bathroom encompassing minimum maintenance, so we delivered and tiled it floor to ceiling and then installed a PVC ceiling to eliminate any future painting.

A matte white 60x30 floor tile laid in a stacked pattern with a grey grout (to help with traffic), matte white 60x40 wall tiles finished with white grout for a seamless and sophisticated look. The black fixtures and fittings provide a pleasing contrast against the white tiles. The wall mounted sanitary ware provides an easier plane for mopping. This bathroom was previously installed by another company however due to inadequate sealing the shower repeatedly leaked over the years. We advised the client that the leaking may have caused further damage than what was visible to the naked eye. The ceiling joists needed replacing which in turn meant a new kitchen ceiling was required. This is not an uncommon problem. The client was fortunate enough to be covered on their house insurance policy for the requisite repairs.

This may be an ensuite, but it packs a lot of character and some great choices in both the tiles and sanitary ware. For me the standout feature is the tile, relatively new to the market but can really see it taking off as a popular choice. This bathroom was done by the original builder of the estate but due to waste connection the toilet occasionally leaked over the years and progressively worsened. We advised the client the leaking may have caused further damage than just what was visible on the ceiling below. Luckily the ceiling joists escaped damage and in turn it just needed a new kitchen ceiling. This is not an uncommon problem and luckily this client was fortunate enough to be covered by the house insurance.

This bathroom was a real overhaul, lots of inferior craftsmanship over the years and ultimately all existing pipework needed replacing. This was an unforeseen issue, but it did result in the endless surface pipe boxing being eliminated. This tile has just come to the market and is proving to be a popular choice amongst clients. Its neutral tones have an ageless look. A bathtub was removed, a walk-in shower replaced and wall mounted sanitary ware was installed.

It’s a bathroom you would be happy to sit in… smoky glass mirrors recessed into panelling spanning from floor to ceiling wall. While it’s painted in an almost black colour the 9ft ceiling doesn’t make the walls or ceiling enclose on you. A fully shroud pan, floor mounted vanity and a classic floor mounted collum rad just add to the character of this timeless w.c.. There is detail in every aspect of this room.

This consists of a neutral tile that is proving to be quite the hit!! The tile is new to the market but due to it’s subtle aesthetic, it will be timeless. This bathroom was extended by borrowing some pace from spare bedroom, this was done to facilitate a free standing bath but in addition to also accommodate a large walk-in shower. Would it even be a bathroom renovation without a lit up niche in the wall.. a classic feature but also a practical one as it becomes a shelf for toiletries.
Bathroom
Howth Harbour, Co Dublin
A tile with neutral tones was chosen for the floor and walls, a similar tile and colour chosen for the feature wall with a ripple effect. This ensuite was extended to accommodate a bidet and a larger shower tray. The black tile trims pull in the black fixtures creating a contemporary space.

Some bold choices in this downstairs WC. From a large classic coving to a checkered tile to a busy wallpaper, not your average details but they really worked when they all came together. We pride ourselves on detail and there was a lot of detail in this project to consider for example the concealed cistern top running into the dado rail in turn lining up with beading on the door.
